Thank you for using Floralens. By accessing our mobile application or this website (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms").
If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the Service.
1. Description of Service
Floralens is a mobile application that helps you identify plants using automated image recognition and provides care recommendations. The Service includes:
- Plant identification via photo analysis
- Care tips and recommendations
- Personal plant collection ("garden") management
- Optional premium subscription features
2. User Accounts
Most Floralens features are designed to work in guest mode, without requiring a traditional sign-up.
Where the Service relies on a device-based or anonymous identifier, you are responsible for:
- keeping control of the device you use to access the Service
- keeping any store, recovery, or authentication credentials linked to your use secure
- providing accurate information if you voluntarily submit account or contact details
- notifying us promptly if you believe your access method or related credentials have been used without authorization
3. Subscriptions and Payments
The App offers optional premium subscriptions. Subscription details, pricing, and billing frequency are displayed in the App before purchase.
- Billing: subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, subject to the respective store's payment terms
- Cancellation: you may cancel at any time through your device's app store settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- Refunds: refund requests are handled according to Apple App Store or Google Play Store policies
4. User Content
You retain ownership of photos and content you submit. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your photos for plant identification purposes.
You agree not to submit content that:
- Infringes on intellectual property rights
- Contains malicious code
- Is illegal, harmful, or offensive
- Violates any applicable laws
5. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, features, and content (excluding user content), is owned by Chapalu Studio and protected by intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
6. Disclaimers
Identification results and recommendations are provided for informational purposes only.

- It does not guarantee any specific results
Always consult authoritative sources before consuming or using any plant. You are solely responsible for how you use the application.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available".
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim
- We are not responsible for actions taken based on identification results
Floralens, its creators, or partners cannot be held responsible for any damage resulting from the use or inability to use the Service.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Chapalu Studio from any claims arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
Material changes will be notified through the App or by email.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Paris, France.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
