Badges for the things
that make a garden grow

65 badges reward what you actually do: identifying a plant, keeping up with care over time, photographing new growth, helping someone in the community. You earn them at your own pace and pin them to your profile.

Badges that come from what you do

You don't earn a badge by opening the app. You earn it when you identify a new species, log a task that was due, add a growth photo or reply to someone in the community.

How you earn a badge

Nothing to switch on, nothing to claim.

01

You do something

An identification, a care task, a photo, a post.

02

Your progress moves

The badge card shows where you are and what's left before the next tier.

03

The medal arrives

It joins your collection, with its date on the back.

Six families, six ways to garden

Each family matches one part of a garden's life. Follow just one, or all of them.

Badges without the pressure

Badges keep the garden company. They don't run it.

At your own pace

Weeks add up, they don't have to be in a row. Taking a break never resets anything.

A task counts when it's due

Watering twice in a row won't get you there faster. Only tasks that were due count, so a badge never nudges you to overwater.

Nothing is for sale

No badge can be bought, and Floralens Pro doesn't hand out any. Every medal comes from something you did.

Questions about badges

How many badges are there?

65: 8 series of 6 tiers and 17 one-time badges, spread across 6 families.

Are badges only for Floralens Pro?

No. Badges are the same for every gardener, on the free version and with Pro.

What happens if I miss a week?

Nothing is lost. Badges count separate weeks, not consecutive ones.

Why didn't a watering count?

Only tasks that were due count. A watering logged before its scheduled date stays in the journal, but doesn't move the badge forward.

Who can see my badges?

Visitors to your profile see the badges you've pinned. The details of your progress stay visible only to you.

Do I need to join the community to earn badges?

No. The Explore, Care, Observe and Put down roots families can all be earned without posting anything. Share and Connect are about the community.

How many badges can I pin?

Up to three. When three badges are already showing, the app asks which one to replace.

What is a one-time badge?

A badge that isn't part of a series. You earn it once, for a specific moment, like the first bloom of a plant you've been photographing.
